my wanderlust has reached a fever pitch. it’s getting a little nuts at this point. and the fact that i stumbled across this isn’t helping anyone, especially my student loans fairy.

i’ve been waxing and waning on how often to treat myself. this isn’t limited to the sugar realm, but also to the “free night” and “money spending” variables. two nights ago i stayed in for one of the first times in weeks. no rehearsals, no appointments, and no hash marks on the productivity meter. i watched Ratatouille, which is awesome, and then played Aquaria, which is also awesome.

but, 10:00pm rolled around, and i realized i hadn’t done a damn thing with my entire evening. i felt horrible in a lazy sort of way. Read more »

i work at a graphic design agency. we mostly handle loyalty programs and customer incentive networks. some of our clients range in the higher echelon of business: ford motor company, starwood hotels, vanguard airlines (who owns continental airlines and american airlines). the list is a bit intimidating when you step back and take it all in. however, in a company this vast, (150 and growing everyday), i seem to find the least creative job imaginable.
